It makes me excited when I see a bridesmaid becoming a bride. Molly was a bridesmaid at a wedding I photographed last year. So when she contacted me to be her wedding photographer I was honoured and happy for her. I couldn't wait to shoot their engagement. Being around them reminded me a good 'romantic comedy' light hearted humour, funny and witty with a story about finding true love.
We ended the day at a small cafe called 'Coffee Studio', tucked beside Corban Estate. It was the perfect way to end the day. Apparently you can listen to some vinyl while enjoying the Coffee Studio experience.
Hakan met Molly through youth camp about 5 years ago and have been friends since. Hakan being good friends with Molly's brothers seemed to be right at home with the rest of the family.
It was obvious to family and friends they both were a match. Taking their advise they started dating since April last year.
Hakan proposed to Molly on their one year anniversary in April this year.
He gave her clues through out the evening of their actives, surprising her with little gestures and clues and eventually
leading up to his proposal.
He even baked dessert for a romantic picnic at the Botanical Gardens where he gave her his final clue entitled "Wild Card" and then asked her to marry him! Followed by a big YES! of course.
