Sam + Stacey

With such contagious smiles, Sam + Stacey's wedding day will just make you happy!

For Sam + Stacey 'loving from a distance' didn't stop them!

Stacey a kiwi girl living in Auckland NZ meets a Swiss French boy from Switzerland, when I think of them, this quote came to mind.

“Distance means so little when someone means so much.”

For Sam it was a stop over trip to Auckland New Zealand for rugby that changed his life for ever, as for Stacey it was a night out with friends that was the start of something special.

They met on a random Wednesday night in Auckland. Stacey was asked to go out with some friends, and Sam was visiting from London. Both ended up dancing the night away.

It wasn't easy as Sam was on a visa from Switzerland, due 4 months after they met. This didn't stop Stacey from flying to Switzerland to be with Sam. They are a true testimony that love has no distance. For the next 2 years they became frequent flyers.

Their wedding was at the gorgeous Pagoda Lodge, the historic lodge, boat shed, Jade cottage, nostalgic gypsy caravans & romantically furnished Safari tents, set among mature trees, gentle river & beautiful gardens, rich in bird life, this was where guest stayed and was the setting for their weekend and their Wedding.

Both declared their vows in English and French, Sam being Swiss French, this was their way of embracing each others country and culture. They said their 'I DO's' underneath a decorated tree in a outdoor garden ceremony.

During the reception Sam was mesmerised by his bride singing an intro of their first dance song {Thinking out Loud} now that got everyone's heart singing. It was truly a wow moment, of course they danced the night away... just like the night they met,.. a night that wasn't so random after all.
