It was the University O-week at Otago in 2011 and Kai Wei's friend Amanda wanted to go for a good girls night out before lectures started but realised she didn't have acceptable ID after going out, so she ended up heading to a friends place {Matt} to play some card games and thats when and where Jimmy + Kai Wei met., who would of thought an ID would changed the course of their lives. {truth is God had something to do with it}
Both were quite fond of each other from the beginning but only started dating about half a year later.
It was obvious they fell in love, and 4 years later they sealed their love in front of their closest families. The rain held off just in time for their beautiful garden ceremony.
Their wedding was planned for November next year, but unfortunately Kai Wei's father has been very ill making him quite weak, so this meant they had to quickly reorganise their wedding date bringing it forward to this year {28th November 2015}. I first met Jimmy + Kai Wei at Cassels, I was photographing details for a wedding that day, as I was leaving, they walked through, and our paths crossed. They were visiting Cassels for a wedding consultation we were introduced by Leigh {Cassels wedding coordinator} and exchanged details and the rest fell into place. I was so honoured to be their wedding photographer especially after hearing their story about Kei Wei's father, this touched my heart. {praying}

I adore you both and think the world is a better place with you in it., you're one of those couples who makes me fall deeper in love with wedding photography. Your trust, your faith, and your ability to push me to simply be in the moment was a blessing, you both allowed me to create.
