This was a special time in the Moelker family, a new chapter for their son
Nathan, being the eldest of 8 kids, Nathan is moving to the United States for university.
This will be a new journey in his life, as a young man leaving home for the first time is a big milestone for them, why these family portraits are special.
It was such a pleasure photographing this beautiful family of ten, they made my job so easy and enjoyable. They had a special tree at the Auckland Domain where they would spend family time together, this was the starting point for our photo shoot. Eventually we made our way to the glass house, just before the rain poured down. Talk about perfect timing!
Meeting the Moelker family reminded me of the importance of family love, loving one another, a reminder that each family is uniquely put together by God and that children are a gift from the Lord; they are a reward from him. Psalm 127:3
As we face changes and challenges within our family, we look to the Lord for guidance and strength, knowing that God causes all things to work together for good to those who love God, to those who are called according to His purpose.
