Dear son,

As I celebrate your birthday without you here, I celebrate it with beautiful memories and moments that I cherish in my heart forever.

I always thought this day was so far away, that I had so much more time before this day will come, and now we're here, now 22 years later, I realise that time has a way of passing by without you noticing. Time has a rhythm that doesn't change, we just need to pace our lives a little bit slower, just enough to show and say 'I love you'.

Here's to you, a short and sweet letter to tell you 'I LOVE YOU!' and that even though your not here with me,.. 'you are here with me'... always!

I love you son, and pray everyday for God's will for your life. It's the only life worth living.

Trust in the LORD with All Your Heart

1 My son, do not forget my teaching, but let your heart keep my commandments, 2 for length of days and years of life and peace they will add to you.

3 Let not steadfast love and faithfulness forsake you; bind them around your neck; write them on the tablet of your heart. 4 So you will find favor and good success in the sight of God and man.

5 Trust in the LORD with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding. 6 In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make straight your paths.
